What is the difference between the different types of sports card?

We offer several types of sports cards, including base, parallel, and autograph cards.

Here is an overview of the abbreviations of the different sports cards:

Auto = Autograph, means the card has been signed by the player.

Slab = If you see a card with a title of PSA, BGS or SGC, it means that it has been graded by one of the most recognized grading companies in the USA.

Gem Mint 10 = The card has been graded by the above grading companies and is in perfect condition, it doesn't get any better.

Mint 9 = The card has been graded by the above grading companies and is in near perfect condition, only a 10 or 9.5 grade is better.

/# = If you see a card with a number followed by a slash it means that this card is limited to that number. For example: /99 - this card is limited to 99, meaning there are only 99 of them in the world.

Case Hit = Boxes are shipped in boxes by the manufacturers, and for some products a special “one per box” card is included. This is a case hit and are rarer and therefore more valuable to collectors. It is more or less the same as an SSP / Super Short Print card.

Patch = This card contains a piece of jersey from the player, a distinction is made between Game-Worn Patch and Player-Worn Patch.

Game-Worn Patch: The piece of jersey in the card was worn by this player in a game.

Player-Worn Patch: The piece of jersey in the card was worn by this player, but not in a game.

SP = Short Print, means the card was not printed often.

SSP = Super Short Print, means the card was printed very little and is very rare.

RC or Rookie = This card is from the player's first year and usually has an “RC” stamp on the card. These are the most popular cards of a player, as they are the first cards.

Pop or Population = The following number means that the card only exists so often in this rating in the world. For example: Population 9 - means that this card only exists 9 times in this world with this rating. The lower the number, the better and more valuable the card.
